We have a rare and exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Stock Controller located in the Heywood area. This position is with a well-established manufacturing organisation and is within the Engineering department but you are responsible for various stores.

Hours:

Mon – Friday 8 – 4.30pm

Salary:

£21,600 – £24,000pa Depending on experience (Pay will increase once fully trained)

Responsibilities of a Stock Controller

• Maintain stock levels
• Purchasing of industrial/engineering equipment
• Generate stock re-order reports
• Creating monthly stock valuation reports
• Completing all relevant documentation
• Using computer systems for stock calculations

Skills and experience

• Experience as a stock controller and purchaser
• Experience within an engineering/industrial department
• Ability to communicate with all departments
• Good computer skills
