Sales Administrator

Hours, Mon – Thursday 9am – 5pm, early finish on a Friday

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Administrator to join a well-established and respected manufacturing company. With over 200 years of experience within their industry, the future is very bright for this company.

As a Sales Administrator, you will be at the forefront of the business dealing with all customer inquiries and supporting the sales team. Successful candidates must be energetic and have the ability to prioritise a busy workload.

Key responsibilities

  • Receiving orders via telephone and email, inputting all information onto a SAP system whilst amending details such as delivery notes, invoices etc.
  • Upsell products when necessary
  • Customer service for all inbound and outbound calls
  • Updating all customer orders when needed
  • Liaising with other departments within the business to ensure that all customer orders are packed and shipped appropriately and within a timely manner
  • Arranging for samples to be best shipped when requested
  • Other office admin

Skills and experience

  • Ability to perform outbound customer calls
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a Customer Service/Sales role
  • Ability to upsell products when required
  • Experience of SAP
