Part Time Accounts Clerk (maternity cover)

We are currently seeking a part-time temporary Accounts Clerk to work in a very busy, fast moving accounts office to cover maternity leave.

Working Monday – Friday between the hours of 8.30am and 2.45pm

Purchase Ledger:
Processing Supplier Invoices for stock and expense
Reconciling supplier Statements and requesting missing invoices
Raising cheques
Answering supplier enquiries

Sales Ledger:
Posting Customer payments Received by BACS & Cheque to Opera II
Posting Payments received for Web orders
Sending customer statements at the start of the month
Dealing with customer queries
Credit Control duties including, calling customers to confirm payments, sending copy invoices, reminder letters etc.

Other Ad hoc duties will include opening the company post and filing.
