  • Company Overview:

    In partnership with our client who has a major presence in the interior textiles industry, we have an exciting opportunity for a graduate (or similar) or someone who has completed a Business Admin course along with having up to 2 years’ experience of working in a similar role.

  • Role Specification:

    The ideal candidate will be looking to commence a career which offers progression within the business. As part of the Commercial team and an integral part of this busy company, you will be developing positive and professional working relationships with customers, suppliers, colleagues. Whilst the main aim is to carry out the administration activities of the Commercial / Sales Department.
    Key responsibilities
    Responsible for sending information to the mills overseas in relation to new designs
    Participating in and recording notes at meetings and follow up actions.
    Labelling and tracking of samples to include photographic information in line with deadlines.
    Effective and timely response to all e-mail communication.
    Tracking of new launch products – liaise with the design team and suppliers on the tracking and receipt of samples for selection meetings.
    Creation of printed and laminated documents for clients as and when required.
    New launch projects- attend meetings and follow up actions and critical path.

  • Person Specification:

    Excellent computer literacy skills in particular the use of excel spreadsheets
    Ability to carry out administration duties displaying good planning, organising and prioritising skills
    Excellent numeracy skills
    Ability to follow instructions
    An ability to work under pressure and meet targets within strict deadlines
    Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative
    The ability to communicate effectively with both written and oral communication.
    Previous knowledge of internal stock systems an advantage such as the use of ERP
