  • Person Specification:

    A vacancy has arisen for our client, within their Quality Department as a Quality Inspector.  In this role you would be required to carry out routine patrol inspections and undertake various bespoke tests methods. You would also be ensuring the end to end process,  from raw materials to finished products, meets quality and safety standards specified in relevant documentation.

    Essential Skills

    Must be very observant and have a keen eye for detail at every stage of the process.
    Display a degree of patience and understanding with the ability to communicate at all levels.
    Have a logical, methodical approach to work and be accurate when taking measurements and recording figures.
    The role requires good numeracy, literacy skills and the ability to read and understand technical drawings (GCSE English & Maths Grade C or above or equivalent.)
    Must have good computer skills and be able to generate and complete various reports as required.
    Flexible approach to work pattern and ability to work shifts as and when required.
    Desirable

    Knowledge of test equipment would be desirable however full training will be given.
    A good understanding of automotive methodology is desirable and working with ISO
    Auditing, working within textiles or manufacturing would be an advantage.
    Working in a Quality environment and driving continuous improvement.
