  • Company Overview:

    Northern Employment Services are working in partnership with our client based in the Rochdale area we are looking to recruit a Production Administrator on part time basis working 22.5 hours per week. (Monday – Friday 7:30am – 12noon).

  • Role Specification:

    • Daily entry of goods receipts and production figures into the SAP database.
    • Closely monitoring batches as they progress through the system.
    • Scanning documentation, combining PDFs, and associated electronic and paper based filing.
    • Recording the daily pick rate into the SAP database.
    • Assist the Works Manager with the administration of the annual and interim stock takes.
    • Maintain and monitor stock levels of the internal sample library.
    • Ensure the product ID list is accurate and up-to-date and communicate any changes.
    • Support the research and development team meetings by generating minutes of the meeting and setting up and maintaining project files to keep track of progress.
    • Booking in product deliveries.
    • Use of graphics applications to produce basic technical drawings, floor plans or flowcharts.
    • Updating various spreadsheets.
    • Assist the Quality Manager with implementation, running and data entry of the quality management system.
    • Monthly reconciliation of open production orders.
    • Assisting with invoicing.
    • Annual review of Company archiving, based on prescribed timeframes, and arranging destruction of documents which have reached expiry.
    • Assisting with annual auditing.

  • Person Specification:

    • Previous administrative experience is essential.
    • Approximately 80% of the time will be entering data.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Excellent IT skills – notably Excel.
    • Ability to organise and prioritise workloads.
