Northern Employment Services are acting on behalf of our client that specialises in aeration systems for waste water treatment works. They manufacture stainless steel pipework which is then delivered to various sites around the UK. They can install full systems, comprising industrial air compresses, fitted manufactured pipework, installing valves, and instrument diffuses. once fitted, the system aerates the sewage to make it safer to disperse back into rivers. We also attend sites for odd repair jobs.

The work  required on site involves drilling, core drilling, mechanical fitting and pipe fitting. A lot of the work is at a high level, in dangerous locations and in dirty water sites, which means IPAF, Confined space and EUSR qualifications are often required, PASMA is a bonus. As a minimum we expect any applicant to have a green CSCS labourer’s card and you must have some form of site qualification.

They also use cranes extensively, lifting qualifications such as telehandler, slinger/signaller and lift supervisor tickets will be useful.
