IT Sales Consultant

To become part of a leading IT reseller who turn over £42M and following a record period of sustained sales growth, the Computer Systems Company are now looking to fortify their strong position and expand their sales function.

  • Role Specification:

    Develop sales from existing and new corporate accounts
    Spot new potential business opportunities and close deals successfully
    Make a minimum of 100 new business calls per day
    Hit tough revenue targets and KPIs
    Keep up-to-date with regulatory factors within the industry
    To deliver companies expectations in line with budget and target
    Whilst most of the role is telephone based, you will visit all of your customers on a monthly basis
    UK wide geographical reach, (hence all expenses paid when visiting clients, i.e. return train to London)
    Target both the Private & Public sector with no vertical boundaries
    Leads also passed to the Engineering Department, and The Telecoms, Broadband & Mobile Department, hence the opportunity to earn revenue and bonus on leads passed

  • Person Specification:

    A proven track record in business to business sales. With a successful career to date working with an a competitive market
    At least 3 years’ experience selling IT or technical products
    Proven ability to drive and develop markets and new business alongside maintaining established customers
    Ability to understand territory and cultivate initiatives that will continue to develop the sales pipeline
    A professional approach to hitting revenue targets
    Proactive, tenacious attitude (coupled with a good sense of humour)
    Exceptional communication skills and the confidence to present to board level
    A well-developed network of “end user” business contacts that could benefit from the support of a leading IT product and service provider
