HR Officer – part time

Part time HR Officer

2 days per week (days/times flexible)


Immediate Start

Up to £30,000 pro rata DOE


Due to growth, our manufacturing client are seeking an experienced HR Officer to manage all aspects of HR within their business, (although this role will NOT cover payroll).


To be considered for this role you must have previous experience within a similar HR role, (ideally within manufacturing), to be able to bring new ideas and implement new systems and changes.



  • Manage people-related issues effectively & fairly
  • Support Line Managers with recruitment and manage the recruitment process e.g. writing job adverts/people specifications, arranging interviews etc.
  • Managing and monitoring updates in employment legislation
  • Maintain employee relations and dealing with complex issues if they arise
  • Supporting appraisal meetings and ensuring all relevant information and documentation is recorded accurately
  • Assisting with disciplinary matters
  • Able to introduce a company handbook
  • Managing staff complaints or grievances
  • Conducting new starter inductions
  • All other ad hoc duties such as involvement and support with new projects etc.
