Hours, Mon – Thu 8am – 16:30, Fri 8am – 1pm

Permanent Position

We have an exciting Contracts Coordinator position available in the Rochdale area for our well established engineering client. As a Contract Coordinator you are working within a small team, you are responsible for ordering of spare parts for major clients, ensuring the parts are ordered efficiently, inspecting of parts and  ensuring they are shipped as quick as possible whilst providing excellent customer service at all times.


  • To plan, organise and coordinate the process if day to day running of spares, service and refurbishment contracts
  • Dealing with major customer accounts, liaising with customers on specific requirements
  • Procurement, expediting and liaison with sub-contractors
  • Inspection of all supplies, equipment before shipping out to customers
  • Packing of all products, despatching and invoicing clients
  • Preparing of quotes for customers in a timely manner
  • Dealing with internal sales for suppliers on all spares needed/External sales when required
  • Checking for internal stock before making purchases
  • Ensuing compliance of quality assurance systems and procedures
  • Stock control
  • Cost analysis

Skills and experiences

  • Ability to deal with key accounts
  • Ability to complete quick turnaround on quotations
  • Experience with similar position would be desirable
  • Good customer relations experience
  • Engineering background would be very beneficial
  • Experience of dealing with suppliers
