Business Unit (Administration) Coordinator

  • Company Overview:

    On behalf of our client who is a highly successful, world leading manufacturing company and are continually expanding their workforce. We are looking for an experienced Business Unit Co-ordinator. This role, which is directly linked to the Fire Protection business unit within the company, will be responsible for coordinating all of the administration needs within this unit.

  • Role Specification:

    Responsible for the end to end processing of Sales Orders, including despatching and invoicing.
    Supporting the shipping and dispatch department, which will include import and export.
    Provide weekly, monthly and yearly sales data to management and company directors.
    Responsible for the system administration inc. bills of material, labour requirements, and costings.
    Manage stock levels of raw materials and finished product according to customer demand.
    Directly responsible for procurement, and upkeep of the purchasing section of the manufacturing MRP software.
    Joint responsibility for selection or products and suppliers.
    Supporting other administrators with general admin duties including telephone queries.
    Focal point for the quality system, and liaise with the team responsible for internal audits and ongoing quality improvements.

  • Person Specification:

    Technical knowledge of Fire Protection (ideal but not essential).
    Excellent coordination and organisational skills.
    Strong attention to detail.
    Able to focus on any given task with the ability to multi task.
    Advanced user of Microsoft Excel/Word and database.
    Experience of working in a busy manufacturing environment.
    Knowledgeable in process flow, Microsoft NAV or similar MRP system.
    Ability to plan ahead.
