  • Company Overview:

    We have a long term temporary opportunity available for an experienced Business Support Administrator to work with our clients in Oldham. You will be required to provide effective and comprehensive higher level business support by working as part of a team and through the provision of more service-specific administration duties.

    Location: Oldham
    Hours of work: 8.40am – 5.00pm (Monday to Friday)

  • Role Specification:

    Main Duties will involve:

    • To adhere to the relevant quality standards.
    • To actively promote the equalities and diversity agenda in the workplace and in service delivery.
    • To adhere to council / directorate policies and financial guidelines / regulations, including customer care, health and safety, data protection, data management, and information security (including external funding organisations
    • To participate in self-improvement in performance through workplace development
    • Suggest areas for service and process improvement
    • Undertake any additional duties commensurate with the grade of the post

  • Person Specification:

    • NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent is desirable
    • Organisational skills to provide administrative support to meetings, seminars and other (large-scale) events
    • Experience of using computer packages for word-processing, spreadsheets & databases
    • Customer service skills to deliver polite, courteous and efficient service to customers, colleagues, partners and service users
    • Experience of following financial procedures and monitoring budgets
