We are urgently seeking an experience BDM for our client who are based in Rochdale.


This role requires someone who is ambitious, confident and proactive, who can develop the brand and generate revenue from new commercial partnerships and advertising.


You will ideally have experience in hospitality, events, marketing etc., such as leisure clubs, corporate events etc.


Duties and responsibilities:

Ability to source and develop new commercial opportunities through lead generation, including researching and targeting organisations and individuals

Conducting sales presentations

Ability to implement and manage new projects

Suggest and implement new ideas and changes by reorganising systems and procedures

Participate in and actively contribute to the innovation of new products and strategies and how to take products to market

Work together with the Sales team to “pool” resources and support the operation of the department

Managing budgets and achieve targets

Conducting market research and competitor analysis


In addition to the above you will also be responsible for a team of c. 50 self-employed agents and also a small office-based sales team.



Proven experience within a business to business sales environment, preferably from an events, hospitality, marketing &/or corporate background

Ability to develop and maintain working business relationships

Able to manage your own workload and time

Understanding of marketing & advertising initiatives

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
