We have a rare exceptional opportunity for a Business Development Executive located in the Bury area for our client. This opportunity is within a family run business and has progression opportunities for the right candidate. As a Business Development Executive you are responsible for increasing revenue through upselling and cross selling.

Responsibilities:

  • Create new business opportunities
  • Secure and book customer meetings that have profitable relationships
  • Carry out marketing campaigns to attract new business
  • Build and maintain client relationships and repeat business
  • Maintain a strong relationship with the sales team
  • Negotiate with director level clients
  • Achieve sales targets and KPI’s
  • Ensure own personal development is maintained in terms of skills and market knowledge

Skills and Experiences:  

Essential:

  • 3 years + working as a Business Development Executive
  • Experience of working within the telecoms industry
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Knowledge of the telecoms industry
  • Networking and negotiating skills
  • Knowledge of PBX, Cloud, Voice, Data and Connectivity solutions
  • Account management experience
  • Drivers licence
