Salary £18,000 – £22,000pa DOE

 

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant for our client who are based just outside of Rochdale centre.

 

You must have 2 years’ experience within an Accounts &/or Bookkeeping role and also be conversant with Sage.

 

This is an busy role involving daily accounting and bookkeeping, assisting with VAT returns and submissions, handling petty cash, raising invoices, filing and data inputting etc.

 

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

 

  • Proficient in the use of SAGE 50 Accounts
  • Confident with all aspects of accounts – with the knowledge / intuition to be able to understand and investigate credit and debit queries
  • Able to post invoices (sales and purchase) & allocate cash receipts
  • Confident in Microsoft Office applications
  • An excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure and as part of a team

 

Hours of work are 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm with 1 hour for lunch, (although this may be negotiable for the right candidate)
